Scope: Silver Trail is a kindergarten through 5th grade school on an eleven acre site. Four acres are devoted to two soccer fields. The school has a functional design capacity of 600 students and code design capacity of 2,759 students. The project included: 30 classrooms, library, gymnasium, cafeteria, computer rooms, and music rooms. The 5,600 square foot center courtyard is comprised of colored concrete accents and inviting meeting areas. The CMU building has wood stud bearing and non-bearing walls, gypsum board with brick veneer and stucco on exterior, pre-engineered TJL and TJI wood framing with sheathing and tectum panels, and a membrane roofing system.
