Earthwork continues at Mirror Lake Assisted Living Project. Retaining walls are getting back-fill, prep for curb gutter and ATB driveways. Garage entrance is poured and curb work is in process. The project includes 69,000 sft of living and support space in two three story structures for a total of 54 units. The assisted living village includes a full commercial kitchen, dining facilities, library, theater, and outdoor walk paths. Storm Catcher Vault Largest Installation to Date
PETRA's Washington crew is in process with the installation of a large storm water system at Mirror Lake Village. It is one of the largest installations to date with this new technology called Storm Catcher which uses the Filterra System. The first vault went in a little over 6 hours with a crane rated at 265 tons - set up at 175 tons. The vault pieces weigh about 22,000 lbs each. With the crane set at 175 tons and 115' of stick, they did not have to reset location to be able pick and set these two vaults.
