Eastmont High School
Construction was completed in multiple phases on an occupied campus when this 168,500 square foot high school was fully modernized and a 32,000 square foot addition was constructed to fulfill the District’s requirements.
School modernization construction included updating the existing classroom wings, main gymnasium, auditorium, commons area, kitchen, shops, and locker rooms, while the school expansion consisted of the addition of new classrooms, auxiliary gym, and weight room. Additional features of the high school included an HVAC system that utilized VAV hot water reheat system with a highly efficient water cooled chiller plant.
The school was designed and built according to the green building standards of the Washington Sustainable Schools Protocol (WSSP).
