Boise VA Medical Center – Building 88 Expansion
Building 88 at the Boise VA Medical Center provides physical medicine and rehabilitation, transitional care, as well as home and community care for veterans. Construction, performed while the building remained occupied, included the addition of a new reception area and doctors’ offices.
The facility was built with a combination of structural steel and metal framing. The interior build-out consisted of finish carpentry, doors & hardware, glazing, windows, framing, dry wall, acoustical ceilings, flooring, painting, specialties, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, telecommunications, and security systems. Exterior finishes consist of brick facade and TPO roofing system.
PETRA self-performed wood roof (joists and trusses) installation, along with footings, foundations, slab-on-grade, and site concrete for this project.
