Scope: The Ontario Readiness Center project consists of a new construction multi-use 36,000 square foot single story building. The building will function as a military training facility as well as a public use rental amenity. The structure is CMU with a pitched metal roof. Facility is located on 7.3 acres of native, non-native plants, and grass landscaping and irrigation.
The building utilizes natural light with the use of solar-tubes, sustainable features, efficient building temperature and lighting control as well as integrates energy saving durable equipment and materials. The facility is supported by: a 5,400 square foot assembly hall, classrooms, commercial grade kitchen and 2,500 square foot military vehicle maintenance training area, a back up generated power along with Photovoltaic Solar Array (PV) System, a Direct Digital Control (DDC) System, a Geothermal Open Loop Ground Source Heat Pump, on-site private vehicle parking, concrete curbs, walks and pavers and additionally features a 2,500 square foot 5 lane high caliber indoor shooting range with state of the art calibration and targeting system, Fitness center and locker rooms, Design Build Audio Visual System.
