The Better Business Bureau of Southwest Idaho serves 13 Counties in Southern Idaho, two counties in Eastern Oregon, and is one of more than 180 Better Business Bureaus in the United States and Canada. BBB of SW Idaho is a private, nonprofit organization that strives to promote and foster high ethical standards in business through self-regulation, education and other programs. Support for the Better Business Bureau is derived primarily through dues support of member companies.

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Building Rating System (LEED) is a voluntary, market-based rating system for defining what elements make a building 'green' and to quantify how 'green' a building is in comparison to another building. LEED® is based on accepted energy and environmental principles and strikes a balance between known effective practices and emerging concepts. It encourages a whole building approach over a building's life cycle that guides a collaborative and integrated design and construction process. PETRA maintains contractor certification through continuing education and active participation in constructing LEED® certified structures.
Drug Free Idaho is a non-profit organization formed to assist employers, regardless of size, in starting and maintaining an effective and well-run Drug-Free Workplace Program. Drug Free Idaho's Board of Directors includes business and community leaders who believe strongly in the advantages of Drug Free Workplace. Drug Free Idaho's goal is establishing a higher quality of life in Idaho by creating the most competitive, committed, safe and drug-free work force in America.
